Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of expnd.co.uk (the "Site"), operated by EXPND LTD, company number 17146646, registered at 24 Oswald Road, Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, Manchester, Greater Manchester, M21 9LP ("EXPND", "we", "us").
By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you're registering as a candidate or business, additional terms apply — see our Terms of Business for Candidates and Terms of Business for Businesses.
1. Who can use the Site
You must be 18 or over to register an account. By registering, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to enter into agreements on behalf of yourself or, if registering as a business, your company.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access at support@expnd.co.uk.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Use the Site to harass, discriminate against, or misrepresent yourself to other users
- Attempt to bypass our vetting, matching, or payment processes
- Scrape, copy, or misuse data from the Site
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
4. Our role
EXPND connects candidates seeking sales roles with businesses looking to hire. We are not the employer of any placed candidate unless explicitly stated otherwise in a specific engagement — the employment relationship is between the candidate and the hiring business, except where we operate as an Employment Business under the relevant regulations for a specific engagement.
5. Fees
Businesses may be charged fees for successful placements, as set out in our Terms of Business for Businesses and agreed individually. Candidates are never charged a fee for being placed into work, in line with UK law.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (including our brand, design, and copy) belongs to EXPND or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use it without permission.
7. Limitation of liability
We take reasonable care in vetting candidates and businesses, but we cannot guarantee the outcome of any placement, and we are not liable for the actions of any candidate or business once a placement is made, except as set out in our guarantee terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You can close your account at any time by contacting support@expnd.co.uk.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
